Haghpat Monastery is the result of the power of Armenian kings and queens, the outcome of the struggle of Armenian rulers and guardian soldiers, the strength of faith of the clergy of the Armenian Apostolic Church, and the forge of scholars’ minds. It is a magnificent example of Armenian architecture that, from the 10th century to the present day, remains one of the symbols of Armenian unity.
